Change of plans again lol (sue me, i dont want to spend this money without a ton of thought). The 2nd option kinda fell through and ill be going back to what jonny proposed earlier.

CPU:

GPU: is this video card that epic for the price? can i get similar quality for a much lower price. Dont mind paying that much, just making sure.

Ram: Whats the difference between good Ram and bad Ram?

PSU: Let me know if i could do much better than this. I've had PSU issues in the past and i really dont want to go through them again.

Case: Not really sure about this case. The HAF 932 started looking a bit expensive for my taste and someone mentioned that this was a quality case. Ive read about some cable problems and was wondering what a good alternative would be. Something easy enough for a first time builder would be good lol

Disk Drive: Does this really matter all that much?

CPU Cooler: Not sure about this one either

Again, if you see anything that you think should or if it looks like im doin it wrong please let me know. All help is greatly appreciated. Hoping to get these ordered in a day or two.

I won't confuse you much.
The above build is perfect. No problems.
Go for it. :D

Thank you. You are a god among men. May look into switching around the case though before its all said and done (Not sure if its shiny and glowy enough). Would that cause any problems or not really?

I agree that your build looks pretty awesome, except for the case :).

Pls do. There's no where to put the wires/cable inside that one and I don't think you want it looking like a birds nest in there, besides disrupting your front/side to back/top air flow. So no, won't cause a problem and would be a benifit.

Are you still buying from Micro Center?

look at the lian li cases, also the corsair 600 series cases, believe those are some of the nice ones (know lian li is.)

I think my decision will come down to the HAF 932 and the HAF 922. Is the 932 so much better that it is worth the $60 more?

Dont really like the 922. To me the 932 is a good case, but looks like it ought to be straped in the back seat of a army jeep. Each to his own, but it would get old quick to me.

I would take these anyday.

Decided on the Black case with orange trim and im gonna get some orange LED fans sooner or later to make it look amazing. Plan on buying all this stuff in an hour or two. I want to thank everybody that helped me pick out these parts.

One last question before im done with this. I PROMISE (no promises). Do i have to worry about thermal paste or is that already taken care of?

Yeah i doubt i will be doing much overclocking if any at all. Might get the paste just because i went all out on everything else. What would you consider a high end paste? I listed the parts separately on here but i already had the combos picked out. Thanks for pointing that out though.

In the process of putting this together. Did not expect the heatsink to be so difficult. The big problem is my RAM is not fitting and it doesnt appear to be close.

Is there a certain direction the V6GT needs to be facing or does it not matter?

Edit: Nvm im gonna send back the heat sink because it is just way too big. what are some high quality heat sinks that will be less of a pain in the butt to install and arent so gigantic?

Is there anything special to installing a liquid cooling system or is it easy? and any other suggestions? the reviews of the Antec Kuhler arent exactly boosting my confidence.

Also, when i put the stock intel heat sink on there do i need to remove the thermal paste that i applied to the cpu earlier since the stock fan already has some? And when i get a new heat sink do i also need to remove the paste thats on my cpu?
