Grrrr installing the AC Freezer 7 Pro SUCKS!

never mind, i gave it to the electrician to fix and he fixed it! now, i idle at 38 and 37 if i take it out of its compartment. i guess my ambient temps are too high. also, i think my temps will go down once i let the AS5 break in and i move my computer to the basement which is 10F cooler than my room. i think it will go down to atleast 34/35, no?

i had the same problems with the acf7p, and i will defiantly be going with a cooler that has a base plate next time.

if it is not overclocked you should have left the stock cooler on, and by the sounds of it, saved yourself a lot of hassle.

if you are not overclocking then you could have just left the stock cooler on, this would have saved you a lot of hassle, as you wouldn't of even had to install the ACF7P

no, its ok. i want to over clock, i will wait like a few weeks and see the temps ill get in my basement, hopefully i can get to 3.0. with the stock cooler my temps were 10-15c higher, so i needed the ACF7P anyway, and i will over clock eventually.

what psu do you have, i only ask because my psu 570w was holding me bk. It has enough power but it is not good quality, which lead to random shunting down ect.

i haven't moved to the basement yet, but as of right now, im iding at 35/36 inside my desk and 34/35 outside! i guess my temps will get better as time goes on!

I'd add a few more fans in there, get the air circulating around. It'll probably help.

well i have 13 fans in mine, still not happy with the temps though, 32/40 OC'ed to 3.0GHz. cant wait to jan till i get a watercooling kit

Haha, At the moment my computer has, erm... tree fans, one on the NB, GPU and one on the CPU. It's not in my case, lol. I'm getting 35c full load and 22c idle.

just an update:

this morning i started up my cpu at stock speeds and it was idling at 33ish and then went up to 35ish. i decided that now i will overclock to 3.0. so now, im running at 3.0 with all stock voltages and my ram overclock 33 mhz . now my temps are 39 idle and 66 extreme load with intel burn test. how's that?
