I sugest you take a look at Computer Specs 101 and Building Computers 101.

seriously he makes a good poing. Why not get a nice high end GeForce. The computor i built has a $700 graphics card and is only $1,700. Then again, it is the most important to what Im doing, and not everything else is probably as high end.

For processor get the AMD Athlon 64 X2 4400+ Its a good choice especialy if you have a $2,000-$2,500 budget.

also if you got some money left over its nice to have 2 dvd drives, so you can stick one dvd in, and burn it straight to the other. that $40 isnt going to add too much.

yep thats the power supply and i would kill to have that processor
lol i only have a sempron 64 3000+ 1.8 ghz but i overclocked it to 2.2
odly enough it doesn't really run any hotter

the case is preference on looks mostly some have little quick release things and such for easy access, also some cool better than others and that is a CPU cooler
