Hey,
Having a number of problems with my computer at the moment.
- Can't open My Computer, My Documents, Folders etc.
- I get messages about having to recover the registry using an alternate copy or log intermittently when starting my computer.
- Get various and alternating errors on startup. Example: kernel32.dll an entry point cannot be found, errors related to the .net framework.
- The "flag" key sometimes does not work (i.e the start menu does not open when you press it) for a session (It might work upon restart and last until I shut the computer down again or it might not).
I was considering formatting my Windows' partition and reinstalling Windows as I have a partition just for Windows and Programs (Just need to backup my Steam games I would rather not have to download 50GB of games again). Is there a easier way of fixing it without using system restore (Waste of time that it, last time I used it, it ended up causing more problems than it fixed).
Thanks,
Tom
