I think i'm going to cry.

Ouch. Well I guess a lot of games are out, like halo and GTASA. :( Man, the only non-gore games I would know of would be Maple Story and Gunbound. Im sure you could get warcraft. but it depends which one you want and if you want to pay monthly. I guess you'll have to go to lan cafes often now, :(. Man, my parents are so easy on video games for me now, once we got a couple M games they seem to not care any more, because blood and gore wasnt so bad any more. The one I can remember that was hard to get was conkers :P, I think I finally got it around 11.

Wow. I am amazed. What the hell is the matter with you peoples parents? They cannot shelter you forever. When you go out in the world and are a pushover, you can safely turn around and blame your mormon parents. Unfortunately, bad things do happen in the world, there are bad guys out there. I mean no disrespect to any of the parents in question but it is not a good thing at all to be overbearing. The worlds harsh realities, good and bad, need to be experienced and adjusted to in moderation. When one is sheltered so severely, the first experience of a euphoric, whether good or bad, experience can often lead to bad consequences. Perfect example: A guy I went to high school with who was the class salutorian had very controlling parents. They would choose his classes for him and from the time he got home from school until his bedtime (yes he had a bedtime even as a senior in HS), they would monitor him. When we graduated he went to University of Michigan on a full academic scholarship. One of the smartest people ive ever met. What happened in the first two months there? He did not know how to handle living on his own, social situations, the immense pressure of college, and making his own decisions. Within the first two months, he had been to the hospital twice for alcohol poisoning (had to have his stomach pumped), became really depressed, and dropped out of school. I truly beleive had he experienced the good and bad of life, in moderation of course, this never would have happened.

I doubt not being allowed to play M rated gaems at the age of 14 will ruin your life. And i also doubt an M rated game perfectly portrays the harsh realities of outside society.

My dad has a bed time he tries to adhere to and he's 42 years old. my mom is 40 and also has a bed time. both of them never complain about being too tired or fall asleep on the job. i stay up till all hours of the night, and suffer in school for it and in my personal health (staying up too late can make you sick, look it up. your immune system isn't as strong when your body is used to sleeping.) i'd say having a schedule for sleeping or w/e u wanna call it is a good idea if you want to do good in school and stay healthy.

having standard times of (enough) sleep is indeed good for your health :)
i have to get up every moring to deliver newspapers. thats about 5 AM.
so i go to sleep at 10:30 PM, and nevcer had a problem so far. (even better, i havnt been sick for 6 years now :D )

Try Playing Battle field 2, or 2142, instead. They are blood-less FPS's, and pretty fun. If your parents have a problem with you "Killing" people, then get mech warrior, or a Game like Oblivion, Gothic 3, or Dark messiah (not so sure about the last one. If they argue about the nudity thing in Oblivion, then tell them the truth: The nudity is only contained in a completely unnoficial non-bethesda related mod. That's how I convinced my parents.

go download a demo version to prevent ur the same thing happen again. unless ur parent goes crazy and take away ur computer. other then that you can still play :O.
