That's exactly why I posted it.
Your not getting the point, that board isnt worth the extra $10. The voltage regulators are lower quality, and a crossfire "capable" setup that is essentially useless for anything more than a 4670 due to the bandwidth of the second slot.

Alright, it's still a huge step up from the one he has now. What would be the difference between DDR2 and DDR3? And between ATX and Micro ATX?

Its not worth it to drop to DDR2. That Foxconn board is cheap! The Gigabyte DDR3 board is 79.99 with a 10 buck rebate = 69.00, same price after rebate. Plus you will only save 10 bucks with that DDR2 memory. Its 69.00 and the DDR3 Ripjaw is only 79.00. So you would only save 10 bucks:p

Yeah, sorry. I was just trying to squeeze the 4870 in.

That's good advice, to skimp on the case to save a few bucks.
