Thanks again for the motherboard scout! I can now upgrade everything else at my leisure

I'm still setting things up and installing crap, so benchmarking and overclocking is scheduled for tomorrow!

Cables are looking better now, But not great since i'm going to get a new case.

Looking good. Have you put in that green cathode that scout gave you? I bet it would look good with your blue ones. Cable management is looking better you and me both need to get one of those round IDE cables so they don't look out of place.

I gave the cathode to my brother :D along with my old mobo and ram.

Scout said he put a tube of AS5 into the box - i couldn't find it with all those little foam things!! I'll have to rummage through it. I used the tube of AS-5 that bomber sent me when i bought his G5 mouse. :)

Round IDE cables are definately needed. for now I need work on airflow and disabling bloatware on vista again.

I got rid of my fan controller - now my 140mm is plugged into the mobo but it only spins at half speed whgich is 600rpm. I'll be checking the BIOS for fan control soon. I have to restart countless times because of drivers and updates now.

You know you will have to give up those blue cathodes when you get your storm scout case. IMO Red and Blue doesn't look good in a computer.

Those AS5 tubes are small they are easy to lose. It could have fell out some where why you was taking the other stuff out.

Currently my CPU is at 28*C and speedstep has decided to kepp my E4500 fully running at 2.2ghz and not clock down.

Guys, help me with overclocking. I can't for the life of me find how to manually set the CPU frequency.

I've gone there. I can't figure it out.

the manual is a little off too because scout put the latest bios on it.

the processor will almost definitely do 3.0ghz on stock voltages and everything, and it will max out at about 3.4ghz.
