Hey, Im planning on buying a new PC, cause my 8yr old is a bit tired now. So I was looking for some PCs. Found some in interest, but I dont know a lot about computers so I posted here. So I searched my living area and found 2 computers that I think is reasonable. So gonna write the specs here: 1st Its Acer Aspire XC600
CPU: Intel Pentium 2030 3 GHz, 2 cores.
RAM:12 GB
HDD:1TB
GPU:AMD Radeon HD 8470 2 GB.

2nd Its ASUS CM1435-NR003S
CPU: AMD A8-5500 3.2 GHz, 4 cores
RAM: 12 GB
HDD: 1 TB
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 7560D(it doesnt say the memory in the website)

I want a computer mainly for games. Mostly League of Legend, but I would like to play FPS too like BF and CoD, Crysis and etc.
Thanks for the help, I aprecciate it. (sorry for mistakes if I did some, my native isnt english).

You won't be able to play well on either of those machines as the acer only has an OEM video card and its a low end card. The Asus has onboard video so that won't work either. I would get the Asus but then get a decent video card. Have you though about building your own?

I actually would like to build my own PC, but I dont know much about it. Like what GPU goes with what CPU. Whats good , whats bad. I know how to change the GPU, coolers and stuff. Couldnt actually build it all by myself. Would need help from here, or from somewhere else.
I live in Sweden , so my maximal budget is about 5000 Crowns= 768.251 USD. So help me out!

Can you tell me what online stores you would buy from or where were you planning on getting one of those you listed?

I recently did this $740 USD build for another forum member. I know the links are on Newegg, so useless to you, but you can look for the hardware and see if you can buy it (or similar).

His budget was $700, hence why I asked if he could go over budget at all.

For $740 (can you go a little over budget?)

AMD FX-6300 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819113286
Gigabyte 970-DP3 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813128627
RipJaws-X 1866MHz http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231455

Radeon R9 270X http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814125476

Corsair 300R http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811139011
Corsair CX 600M http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817139048
ASUS DVD-RW http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16827135204

Seagate 1TB http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822148840

I don't know if you need an OS or not.

If you can't go over-budget, replace the graphics card with a 7870 (which tends to be a little cheaper), or if you get 7850 you should be under $700.

You could downscale this build a bit.

Get an FX-4300 instead of an FX-6300.

Get 1600MHz RAM instead of 1866.

Get an R7 260X, 7850 or 7870 instead of the R9 270X. If you got the 260X or the 7850, you would probably be able to change the PSU to a CX 500M (though having the extra headroom of the 600W is good)

Get a Corsair 200R instead of a 300R.

Maybe look at a 500GB or 750GB HDD?

About the RAM, the shop finds lot of RipJaws-X 1600MHz , could you be more specific?

They are all the same but:

The first one is blue and is a 16GB kit (4x4GB sticks).

The second one is red and is a 16GB kit (4x4GB sticks).

The third one is red and is an 8GB kit (2x4GB sticks).

I'd probably get 8GB to start you off and if you need more RAM, just buy another 8GB kit.

So the computer should be like this:
AMD FX-4300
RipJaws-X 1600MHz 2x4 GB
Corsair CX 600M
Corsair 200R
R7 260X
Seagate Barracuda 1TB
About the motherboard, the one you listed(Gigabyte 970-DP3) isnt in the shop, maybe some other choices?

If you don't know which sites to buy from, you should buy all your items at www.komplett.se.
Fantastic service (they own www.webhallen.dk/se/com/etc)

The reason everything is much more expensive is because Spirit isn't from Scandinavia. With the exception of Norway (not part of EU), everything is 25% more expensive due to tax. It'll be added to your cost if you buy off shore, so just buy from Sweden.

The build Spirit suggested is good, and with the exception of G.Skill RAM, it should all be available there. At least it is on the .dk site.

Yeah, I was looking for the parts in webhallen. Found everything , but the motherboard. Are you from sweden? (I would need some help for the translation of some things, cause google translate sucks, and I just moved here)

Yes, that is all looking quite good. There are likely other motherboard choices available, look at some of the 970 boards from other manufacturers. ASUS, MSI and ASRock are all decent enough. :)

Correct, I am from the UK and the I got the parts from an American site, and hardware is cheaper in America than it is even in the UK (since we have to pay 20% tax in the form of VAT).

If you can't get G.Skill RAM, then Corsair and Crucial are also good makes. Look at Super Talent, Patriot and Samsung too.

MSI 970A-G43 - ATX / 970+SB950 / DDR3, would this be a good motherboard for the PC?
G.Skill RipjawsX 8GB DDR3 PC-12800 1600MH, and these RAMs would be the same, just like the other?? (these are cheaper for some reason)
