True. I see. I just still feel like there is something wrong with my PC
Replace the fans, increase your ram, install a fresh copy of windows with latest drivers. Also what specific power supply are you using?
True. I see. I just still feel like there is something wrong with my PC
Cause after time, windows will become corrupt unless you know how to keep it clean and malware free. How long has it been since windows was installed? If its been more then a couple years then its time for a fresh install. What bios revision is installed on the motherboard?ut why a fresh copy of windows and latest drivers? What do you mean by that?
Ohhh but I could put it on the back side I see...still seems too thick
@Laquer Head OK makes sense. But it's still a little expensive for what it is in my opinion. Might as well get a smaller one for $60. Also, what other fans do you recommend?
$64.99 after rebate! I was a penny offEh it's actually about $75 everywhere.
Back up your data and do clean install of windows.Well it's only been a year. So like restart it?
There is no bios version 2.8 only goes up to 1.8. Download cpuz and click on the mainboard tab it will tell you model number and bios version. And I don't really know what the bios is...is it like MSI BIOS 2.8?
Actually, significantly shorter than the aggregate chunk of time you spend needlessly waiting on your PC on a daily basis.@johnb35 wouldn't that just be really unnecessary and take freaking forever?
If two minutes is forever for you.....@johnb35 wouldn't that just be really unnecessary and take freaking forever?
Huh. Ok. Well what do I look up to find instructions on how to do so? @johnb35Actually, significantly shorter than the aggregate chunk of time you spend needlessly waiting on your PC on a daily basis.
Basically what we are trying to help you with is getting your machine back to a factory-fresh state (reformatting) so that you have a clean slate to work from. You've been having issues, slowdowns, and just overall unsatisfactory performance.Huh. Ok. Well what do I look up to find instructions on how to do so? @johnb35
@voyagerfan99 Yeah but don't I have to back up and reinstall everything?
If you have an external drive, that might be the easiest way for you.. just drag and drop whatever you dont wanna lose.Ok...and that's perfectly fine buuut I have no idea how to back up everything and reinstall all my data. I don't want to mess it up either. So could you give me a way to finds instructions on how to do all of this? And should I do this at the same time as I pull out a lot of plugs and rearrange them?
No, it won't take days.. and regardless, if you want to try to move forward, you're gonna have to make some sacrifices - mainly a bit of your personal time to get the job done..or pay someone to do it for you.Ok...But wouldn't game saves take up a ton of space and take days to reinstall?
Yeah well if I disassemble the machine don't I have to backup everything again?
