Github is free if you only want/need public repos. Otherwise it's $7/month or $25/month. I think the $7 would do if that's the case, I don't think we'd need the mass permission controls that the business plan provides.

In any event, we probably have enough to go on to start gathering potential ideas. Lets get a second thread going so that we can get everyone in on submitting them.

Once we have a few ideas we can look at each.

I assume, by your question, you mean IDE. Probably Eclipse.

I said "if that's the case." I don't see a reason why the public repo wouldn't work right now.

Nyxcharon would not enjoy that...unlike the rest of the world.

I wouldn't really care for it either but it's easy enough to use.
