JUST upgraded my FIOS package, and my cFos lan drivers - woot!
Frontier is offering me an upgrade in speed fro 100 Mb/s to 150 Mb/s for an extra $10 per month. Is this worth it? Will I even notice the difference. I don't do anything elaborate just general internet surfing and streaming you tube videos and other sporting events. Thank you in advance.
Do you find yourself frustrated with transfers 'only' around 12 MB/sec instead of around 18 MB/sec?
Otherwise no real difference.
In your case, no.
56.43 Download, 64,24 Upload
I can't wait for my town to finally get off their ass and impliment what was voted on for city-wide Internet and add some competition to Comcast. Then I might be able to have a higher upload speed.
Just arrived in 2006
That's a "D" connection.
Around three weeks ago we upgraded to BT Infinity 2 package and the speeds went from around 50 down/8 up to 72 down/17 up.
Yeah I know lol, I was stating that the connection I have today would of been a really good line in 2006, but not anymore!
My other connection is about 50/14, but I can't run a test at the mo, downloading steam games
Will get a pic later to post
Hahaha I didn't actually send it...
Downgraded to the ole 50/5 plan from TWC for $30/mo
Trying to get my ryzen fund utilized before knee surgery bills amass
On your knees praying for Ryzen....
You could have said paying. Would have been funnier
Paying for 60/5
Edit: This is the speed on VPN, off VPN I get close to 60 down.
