hello,just wondering about graphics card,i knw there have been a few mentioned in this thread,but are there any cheaper ones possibly,thnx
 
I would strongly suggest that you get the 5770 atleast it will be a good investment.
If not then get the HD 4850 or the GTS 250
 
i have been lookin at graphics cards,im lookin at a ATI RADEON HD3850 GDDR3 512MB.im not a mad gamer,but i do play sometimes mainly football manger games,im just wondering whether this would be ok,orwould it be a waste of time,ive pretty much got everything else,and i dont want to be spending alot on a graphics card, tbh.thnx

I have a 3870 and still play all games out on medium-high settings no problems, so a 3850 would be fine.

Football Manager isn't graphically intensive at all anyway, so you don't need to worry about graphics too much for it
 
thts what i thought,this one im lookin at tho is 2nd hand ,a few months old,are 2nd hands ones ok in ure experience,thnx bud,also i hear these cards are quite long,i have bought an antec 300.wel im here i remember u mentioning powersupplies,here they are

im really confused on memory,i have been let down on g skill ripjaws 2x2gb,so i am now lookin at corsair.http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/4GB-...600)-Non-ECC-Unbuffered-CAS-8-8-8-24-XMP-165V
ive looked at the motherboard manual and this is what it seas for memory,4 x 1.5v ddr3 dimm sockets supporting up to 16gb.
dual channel architecture
support for ddr3 2200/1333/1066/800 mhz memory modules
support non ecc memory modules
support for extreme memory profile memory modules.
thnx im really new to all this as u can see

Yes, that memory is fine. It is best you can hope to get in UK for the price because we really don't have a massive choice from eTailers

Your system will all work, and yes, your card will fit in your case. There is also nothing wrong with using second hand video cards

I dont know much about the availability and the prices there in UK since I am from India so I +1 whatever aastii said

thnx ,ive had a rethink on my graphics card situation tho,im now thinkin of a ZOTAC GTS 250 512 DDR3 PCI Express Graphics Card.ive found a gr8 deal,the only thing is i really dont knw whether it will fit as its quite big.it is 27 cm in length takes up two pcie slots.so there we go,this isnt easy is it haha.thnx guys

Id go with the 250

What case do you have? It should fit fine, but depends on the hard drive layout and the overall size of the case
 
im goin really cheap on the case,cheaper than antec.its a midi case,its off ebay,motherboard type is atx or micro atx,and my motherboard is micro atx.il give u the measurements 486 x 203 x 413 mm (L x W x H).

Without knowing the dimensions can't say for certain, but it is mid ATX so shouldn't be a problem at all, the card isn't longer than a standard ATX motherboard and the case is designed for them
