I have a hp m9250f. I just installed a new power supply and new graphics card for the first time and the video card is slightly too big. It fits into the slot but the part that I screw to keep it secure can't fit because the graphics card is too wide. The part I'm talking about that keeps it secure is the 4th image. In the 4th image you can see that it's popping up because it's a tad too wide. It's supposed to be like the (audio card I assume) in the third image on the right of the video card.
It's a GTX 560ti as you can see. Is it ok to leave the metal part off without screwing it on or should I duct tape something to keep it in place? It holds but I feel that gravity will take its toll on the pci? slot.
I made a small video to show what the problem is
