You don't have "new tab" as your homepage though, right? If you have another site set as your homepage, it will probably work fine.

I don't want to change my home page. I want to be able to click the new window button and have it open another page just like my home page. I have the little magnifying glass in the right corner that brings up a Google search bar,but it doesn't let me paste in it. My home page is Google and when I'm on a web site I sometimes want to search something,so opening a new window which should be my default home page "Google" allows me to paste in the Google bar,but right now opening a new window brings me to the Apps page. Why doesn't the Google bar in the magnifying glass allow me to paste?

Forget everything I just said...when you highlight an item and right click...there is a Google search right there in the drop down menu...how cool is that!
 
I like google chrome but you can only get to your favorites on the first page which is a bit annoying......i use exporer 9 beta at the mo..
