With the case open are you able to hear roughly where the sound is coming from? I know that when I've had computer components making abnormal noises you can usually put your ear up to different parts and hear what is causing it.

Not a good idea to clean out with vacuum. Increased chance of electrostatic shock.

Chrome is the only browser I've used for over a year now. I've tried most the others. I've always felt Firefox was too cluttered and bulky, chrome is so neat and easy to keep clean, and not to mention just a little snappier than the rest. I'm looking forward to seeing what Mozilla comes out...

I've owned a Razer keyboard for about 6 months (not the one you're looking at, but a mechanical one with no backlighting). I feel it is a very high quality product and I couldn't be happier with it. I don't have any experience with any other gaming keyboards but Razer makes good products.

I say that because you get so much more "bang for your buck" if you build your own computer.

That is an option. You can always use Ubuntu until you can save up for Windows as well.

All you need is a few hours one Sunday afternoon to build your own! Most people on this forum would agree with me on that. Buying a prebuilt from iBuyPower or where ever is a decision you will probably regret in one way or another in the future.

That is a bummer... All the HP people I've ever dealt with have been hit or miss. They're either helpful and at least somewhat try to resolve your issue, or are a jerk that is trying to pull a fast one on you. Which OS is it you need to get on your new hard drive?
