seems everyone is having this issue its not the game its the card and i think it stems further than just a driver issue. Seems that game is just unplayable on that card unless you were on vista and were able to try the beta driver.

sounds like a codec problem have you tried updating video drivers and codecs? if not i would recommend ace mega codec pack thats what i have used for years and have never had any codec issues

sounds like the windows xp firewall is blocking your access

make sure you plugged all the power connectors in correctly including the 4 pin power connector on the motherboard its easily forgotten
