I need a Laptop hard drive help me please!

Yes, any 2.5" HDD will work now a days. Check the RPM's of the drives though, generally a 5400 will use more power than a 4200 so if you're interested in staying low on power consumption (even a few watts) then go for a 4200RPM drive.

    power supply or motherboard?

Switch the PSU like stated and see if it will boot consistantly for say a week or a few days. If so then you know you found the problem (or at least 1 part of it). If it's still not booting consistantly then try changing out other components 1 by 1 and see how it goes.

    Fixing Problem

If you mean virus/worms/spyware/adware/everything else than that'd be your job to diagnose it. Look it up online and find out what's going on and then remedy it. Unless of course you wanna shell out 85-100$ an hour for some computer place to fix it. If you mean a hardware problem well then, I...

    another urgent computer problem

If the message is NTLDR then that would be either a direct OS problem or a problem with the MBR of the OS. Easiest way to remedy this would be to just do a repair install of XP. If it's not booting from the CD-ROM make sure you got the boot order right in the BIOS and then if it's still not...

    System won't power on, PSU smells . . .

If it smells like burning (:P) then you might want to try a new PSU and see if it will boot with that. It is indeed most likely your PSU that is causing the problems though.

    computer turns off by itself

Don't jump to conlusions. Run Motherboard Monitor 5 and get some temps. If it displays at 32C it means the sensors aren't reading right. Run a pass with Memtest86 and see if it gives you any errors on your ram. More than likely however it's your PSU that's causing the random shut downs of your...

    Help with wiring

BUILDING COMPUTERS 101 I don't know why everyone always skips over this. Lies, thermal grease/pad/paste helps with the transfer of heat, it isn't necessarily required, but it is highly advised.

Good printer with good price plz help fast

So does every other printer on the market (mainly photo printers). As for your experience, work 12 hour days at 3 local tech shops and then go freelance for a few years before you start banging out info which might not actually be true. As for a good printer basically the cheapest one you can...

    keyboard problems

Don't reinstall windows. If it's not working in the BIOS I dare say it's a broken PS/2 port. Take a look inside at it and see if it's loose and see if all the solder points are still connected to the motherboard.

    Backlight or Inverter?

Sounds like it could be the backlight or it could be a loose cable. The only way to tell for sure is to open it up and take a gander. However if you're not that experienced with laptops/computers in general I suggest giving it to someone who knows what they're doing.

White reflects the laser or optical light best but a black mousepad will work to. Unless you're a serious gamer you won't need a 40$ mousepad.

    Insanely long boot-up

Is that the SE16 WD2500KS would it? I have 4 of them and have gotten "reports" of bad sectors from my machine with 2 of the 4 drives. Could also be a lot of different reasons. My best guess would also be something with the HDD or possibly the windows install.

    Computer Won't Turn On :(

QUESTIONS 101 Reset your BIOS see if the machine will post. If not it leads me to believe it is also a PSU problem, try swapping out the current one for a different one and see if it will post that way.

    SLi: Questions

They need to be the same model (same manufacuter doesn't matter [it might, never tried it]) to work in SLI. If you wanted to SLI you would need to buy another 6600GT which would almost be a waste of money at this time period.
