You can remove all the extras all you want, but if you don't uncheck DTS audio you still won't have it small enough. DTS usually is around 500-700MB. You can keep all the extras (if you really wanted) if you uncheck DTS audio.

did you check both AC3 and DTS audio? If so uncheck DTS that will usually do it.

Can you give an honest answer on how long it takes with nero? And it will take longer than 5 min. If I remember even burning at 16x (which is just stupid) will take at least 8 minutes. For me on average burning time is 14-18 minutes

Well at least Nero 6 has dual layer support. Also the old DVD Decrypter is able to burn dual layer .. but it only burns ISO's. IMO one of the best burning programs is VSO's CopyToDVD. But it costs like $30-40 ... but well worth it.

what exactly are you burning? a data disc? or a DVD movie?

You try re-installing Nero? Uninstall Nero using Nero Clean Tools, then reinstall it.

You don't get a copy protection error (css encryption) if your trying to play em .. you get it when your trying to rip the DVD.

You are correct Lightning_UK did have to cease upgrading Decrypter, but the Feds? No, Feds are in the U.S., Lightning_UK is in the UK ;) Just had to stop. DVD Shrink will not break the newer copy protections out there. Not even sure if DVD43 will break all of them. DVD Decrypter works...

I guess my question would be .. What program are you using to rip and also to play? My ripped movies play perfectly fine w/ PowerDVD.

Check the dell spec sheet. I believe mine run at 533 (PC1066), but run in dual channel.
