Thanks for the responses. I contacted my hosting provider today after I found out that every computer I tried would not access the websites. They found the problem quickly and fixed it. They said it was caused by a php version upgrade.

    Unable to access certain URLs

This is a very strange situation that is driving me crazy. From my Windows 7 desktop there are certain URLs that bring up the Save as dialog instead of displaying the website. This happens regardless of which browser I use. It doesn't matter if I try to access the sites from a bookmark or by...

    Windows 10 installation question.

I have one partition (D) on the hard drive where I'm storing a lot of files and also the C: partition where Windows is installed. I would like to only delete the C: partition and keep the other. Is this possible?

    Windows 10 installation question.

Thank you, this is what I needed to know. So the Windows 10 installation disc will allow me to format the C: partition and install the 64 bit operating system... correct? I do have the Windows 10 Pro 64 bit license key.

    Windows 10 installation question.

Thanks for the response. So should I take it that the Windows 10 installation does not allow you to format the partition during installation like Windows 7 did when I installed it over XP? Or is it because I would be installing a 64 bit version over a 32 bit?

    Windows 10 installation question.

I have a PC with a Windows 7 32 bit operating system. I have a Windows 10 Pro 64 bit installation DVD. A program I downloaded called SecurAble reports that my processor supports 64 bit. My question is if I would run into any problems installing the 64 bit version of Windows 10 over the 32 bit...

    CPU Comparison

I know there are certainly must faster processors around but I can get a really good deal on the refurbished core 2 duo and was just wonder how much faster it was than the Pentium 4 so I can decide if it's even worth my time messing with.

    CPU Comparison

Video converting is something I do only occasionally. The Pentium 4 converts the videos in about two hours and I just let it do that when I'm away from the computer. If the dual core is faster it should cut that time down... right?

Computer cannot play or read contents of DVD

I created a DVD of home movies that plays in a DVD player but when I try to play it, or view the contents of it, on my Windows XP computer whatever program I use (Windows Explorer, WMP, WinX DVD Ripper) stops responding. Incorrect hard drive free space displayed

Thanks for the replies. The WinDirStat program showed the correct amount of free space but Windows explorer still showed only 5GB. Rebooting didn't help so I completely turned off the computer for a few minutes and when started up again everything was fine. Very odd.
