there is also no build warranty. no customer support for the computer. only warranties and support for each part.. who do i call when it blue screens? and i have no idea how to fix it or why it did it?
not trying to be rude.. but ive had a computer home-built before and noone i knew could fix it. never got it running again..
its just scary to me and i hope someone here can understand that... at least i know if i buy a computer from alienware, dell, toshiba, ibuypower, cyberpowerpc, it comes to my house ready to go. i just plug it in and turn it on. bam. done.
i remember having this q before and was determined to prove someone wrong or something and spent like 20 mins putting in the numbers slowly and the average increase was like 12.- fps i want to say, it just depends on the game and the res.
not that big of a difference.
If you are willing to build yourself, then save some money elsewhere and get a HD6950/6970. That will net you the highest performance for a current single GPUP from amd (still short of the GTX580).

ok, a few questions.
1. do you plan to use multiple GPUs in the future? (CF/SLI)
2. do you plan to OC? (determines the need for a cooler)
3. would you be apposed to a HAF912 case?

ok. heres the list.
for CF, you will need a stronger PSU. And a 990FX board would be better.
I choose the 955 because it comes with a cooler and is only $20 more than the 925 you were looking at. Its faster and saves you the price of a cooler.
i have no clu, never thought about it, and now i want to know, googler HAF what does it mean and the only thing that makes any since is Hot As F**k
and what are you looking for price wise now, cuz there are several issues with that build for what you wanted. mainly being to change to these, this mobo will work much better with 2 gfx cards, the psu has enough power for it for 15 more, and the gfx card is 10 less, has a 10 buck mir, and is rated well where the other has no rating yet.
