One more thing, do you know of any other GPUs that are good but not as expensive?

are you getting the same MOBO?
It was recomended to me by GCR.

I was looking at either the X1950Pro or the 7900GS?

The X1950 is a great card and from what I've read, it's quiter and slightly more powerful than the nVidia card.:)

Everything except the ViewSonic (Got that yesterday) and the Sound Blaster (Got that free from an '02 machine) cost about £650 but I got XP Pro from a friend with a Corporate licence. Everything but the RAM is from Novatech and the RAM is from OverClockers.:)

Oh and I have a cheap JeanTech case, but that cost like £20. Still a great case though.

This will only be costing me £350.

I have a cheap case, It was only about £26.

I hope my PSU will be up to the job! I did a PSU calculator and it said that it was fine.

I would hope so, you wouldn't want to be doing anything important and it just cuts off on you. Good luck with the build and dealing with your parents! :p
