£350.86 Thats a good setup but you'd need a bit more in order to top it off. Like with a case and stuff.

Why a bit more? You hit the 350 mark, and he already has a sweet case. :)

I already have a HDD, so I don't need one of them.
7600 GT, is it any good, is it better than the card I have at the moment?

I just looked the 7600GT up and it's worse than the card I have now:

http://www.gpureview.com/show_cards.php?card1=385&card2=58

EDIT:

I've come up with this build what do you think?

Abit GD8 Pro SKT775 - £46

Core 2 Duo E6300 - £100

Sapphire X1950Pro 256MB 256bit GDDR3 - £108.95

OCZ 512MB DDR2 533MHz - £25

OCZ 512MB DDR2 533MHz - £25

Total: £304

I think it's excellent :D

hey mate that looks a good build...and only for Total: £304.....you could overclock the e6300 then im sure that system would be cool.

you could re-use your cd drives you have and your case....dunnu about the Psu though.

The PSU, I HOPE it'll work as I just bought it and my parents won't be best pleased.

Hey Koronowski, I don't think the MOBO you've chosen here supports core2duo. This is MOBO I'm planning on getting

http://www.microdirect.co.uk/(16724)Abit-Fatality-FPIN9SLi-Motherboard-LGA775.aspx

It supports the RAM you've chosen above and its a MOBO that can support core2quad if ever you decide to upgrade in the future and it supports SLI.

Here is the manufacturer's specification link:http://www.abit.com.tw/page/en/moth...pecifications&fSEARCHTEXT=Fatal1ty FP-IN9 SLI

Well, if you're going to get a new CPU/Mobo, definitely go for the e6300, but the whole idea of upgrading atm might not be a good idea IMHO.

Why wouldn't you upgrade at the moment?

Thanks for the link, I'll check it out.

Are there any less expensive MOBOs that support Core 2 and have 3 or more RAM slots?

Thanks :)

I've come up with this list, What do you think?

Abit Fatality FP-IN9-SLi Motherboard - £71.68

Core 2 Duo E6300 - £111

Sapphire X1950Pro 256MB 256bit GDDR3 - £108.95

OCZ 512MB DDR2 533MHz - £25

OCZ 512MB DDR2 533MHz - £25

Total: £341.63

Is there another GPU that I could get that is cheaper and is as good or better than the one I have now?

The OCZ operates at at least 2.1v methinks, whereas the DS3 has to be able to get the RAM to 1.8v

EDIT: Ignore that, the 533 does operate at 1.8v...
