A large solid-state drive is beneficial for Photoshop. A lot of effects in Photoshop can take advantage of a decent Gpu. If you think your build is bad, why did you post it in the first place?

I´m only realising it now. I didn´t pay attention to what his goals were. I do not mind admitting when I´m wrong.

The reason I think the 500Gb SSD is a bad idea is because you can spend those extra $60 in getting a better CPU, like a 6600, and still have a little extra for an HDD.

But you have to realize the higher the tier, the better for high end machines. We are only dealing with an entry level pc here, doesn't need anything special.

You are right. Hell, I'm even overclocking an FX on that thing. That unit should be perfectly fine. Good build. I would definitely recommend the OP to do that. +1
