    Stock Or Aftermarket?

Well, stock voltage for your CPU is 1.65V. I was implying to set the voltage to a number, not auto.

    Stock Or Aftermarket?

The stock heatsink and stock thermal paste are fine for any overclocking, as long as you leave the voltage set to stock (ie, 1.35V not auto). I did some minor overclocking when I first built my computer, with stock heatsink and pre-applied paste. Nice temps as well, due to airflow.

    does avast?

Buy? Download, you mean. Get AVG Free Edition and Avast. If you want anti-spyware, get Lavasoft Ad-aware as well (free as well, of course).

Intel will cut the price of Q6600 and it will release two new Quad-core in Q3 2007

They're trying to stop as many people as possible from buying AMD quad-cores, no matter what the cost is (they have far more cash to throw about than AMD). 'tis the nature of Capitalism.

    Processor pins came bent..

Yeah, call them. Something bad happened at the AMD factory.

Memory Full -- Can I Delete.......

Install Webroot's Windows Washer. It's what I use. When you use it for the first time, it deletes a LOT of useless junk. I use it loads of times, so it won't kill anything. You can tell it to leave areas alone, like your internet cookies/url history etc.

    Which CPU Heatsink/Fan for my A64 3500+?

The arctic cooler has recieved a lot of praise for being a very good, cheap heatsink.

    My friend wants to know

That's actually a damn good case. I think that a may be better than the Antec 900. Depends on the heatsink you're using. If it's a tower style heatsink (the fan blows air parallel to the motherboard), then the Antec is best. If it's a non-tower heatsink (the fan blows air down onto the mobo)...

The best? The Antec 900, at $110. So much airflow...

does any one know if amd are commin out with new processor

The Core 2 Duo is currently the best for any area of computing, be it gaming, CAD... Until the Barcelona is released (AMD's new CPU), we won't know how much better (if at all) it is than the C2D/C2Quad.

Well, I upgraded. Is it supposed to feel this hot?

Feeling a lot of heat coming out is a good thing. The heatsinks are working, and the components are being cooled properly. The 8800GTX is probably releasing the most heat.

Computer crashes at XP login after ~30 seconds...

I assume your mobo has a 8pin 12V socket (my mobo has a 4pin, not a 8pin). If so, get yourself a new PSU, one with a 8pin 12V cable. And, don't buy a cheap one. Don't want it dying, and killing your components at the same time.

    My friend wants to know

Depends if temperatures are important or not. If not, that case will do. If she overclocks, and/or wants low temperatures, a better case is needed; something like this.

...What was wrong with the 8800 release? They got the cards out, they work.

Computers have come along way... (but what about monitors?)

Not really far at all, if anything at all.

Temps before swapping to new HSF.

Keep the full load core temps at/below 55C to avoid any impact on lifespan. Stock heatsinks are absolutely fine for overclocking. I oc-ed my Athlon with a stock HS (but I didn't bother changing the voltage; was still a bit of a novice back then).

    now what

Did this happen when you tried playing a new game, or has it been happening with every game you have? And, do you use a game controller? Maybe a joypad or a joystick. If so, unplug it, and load the game up. If this error has started appearing for a new game, seems to be that gamepads/sticks are...

    higher clocked ram?

Well, DDR value memory is only rated at DDR400. It may hit DDR500, it may only oc by 5MHz. Memory rated to run at DDR500 (ie, it WILL hit 250MHz) is more expensive, simply because the companys can charge more. If the memory is majorly unstable, you will have to clear the BIOS by removing the...
