The average person simply can't afford all the gadgets for a good gaming PC. However, like always, the average person simply doesn't care to learn how to build a good gaming PC, or even how to pick one out at a store. It's always been elite to an extent, in my opinion.
I've tried everything I can find online, and have been working on this problem for what feels like a month. Essentially, my XBox 360 can't connect to my computer for streaming media through the dashboard or through Media Center. I wish I could list everything I've tried so far, but I'll do my...
Well that's some shit. I am not going to spend all the money for a new CPU, motherboard, and memory. So there's DDR2 for AM2, and DDR for 939. WHOAAAAA... not a big performance difference there.
Played it for an hour (got that free trial). I couldn't pause the game, and I had to go pee. I come back, and all that's there is a ghost of what was once my guy. I got pissed, uninstalled the game, and never touched it again.
Meh. I'm not interested in the PS3 at all. Even if it was given to me free, I'd find a way to trade it away as quickly as possible. The technology is too pointless to me, and to the average user who might still have a CRT analog TV. Good for them, though. They're starting to smarten up.
Ya know, it's not like the people aren't getting praise (or pay) for their work, anyway. Not currently, at least. A true artist is someone who just wants to have their message heard. I'm not saying "always steal, boo money" but I am saying that what is being done isn't the worst thing.
Same here. In XP, it constantly lagged, and I had to have the settings a bit lower. In Vista, I have everything maxed out, and while I don't know the true framerate (fraps is stuck in Vsync mode or something with that game) but if it rarely goes under 60 when running on Vista, that's a good thing.
It's all about money. None of this would be a real issue if our economic system were to regress (or as I see it, progress) back to a bartering system. People offering goods and services in exchange for goods and services. That way, all people will become self-actualized, nothing will be taken...
Same with me. I have no problem with Intel. I think they've done a great job. I just have an affinity with the underdog. I trust the little guys more. To AMD, it's all about just catching up and providing the fastest and most efficient product. With Intel, it's about sitting on the pile of cash.
I tried all that. Maybe I'm misreading my PC, but it seems as though anytime I change anything besides the clock speed (HT, RAM MHz, voltages, etc), the PC won't POST.
Oh, screw you people with your fancy setups. :p Once I find the cable for my camera I'll show you all mine. It's just a basic desk (basically a table) with a lava lamp and all the other obvious accoutrements.
