Since I've switched to Ubuntu, I've started using Firefox 3. It's much better than Opera IMO.

No, there are two seperate browsers. very similar though.

netscape -> opensourced to mozilla -> firefox is just the browser part of the mozilla suite - the full one includes composer etc..
